I chose Conflict of Honors, but I would be happier if Partners in Necessity had been available as a choice. The entire volume was my main comfort reading for years and years, and while I know there are three books in there, since I bought it as one package I think of the three as one and always read them that way. (And of course, once I've read those I have to go on to read Plan B, then I Dare.)
I Dare is next, because of how amazing Pat Rin is, how he steps up and does such an incredible job despite thinking that he may be the last of the clan. The very traits that caused him to be something of a black sheep are most valuable to him in establishing a haven! I think anyone who has ever been a black sheep can't help but love that one. (I'm hearing Jayne from Firefly say, "You took that stick and, well, you took it!")
